About Our Grower Pass
$200 Annual Investment
The Grower Pass offers one fiscal year of access to both buyer and seller privileges, including full access to our marketing services, product distribution, and professional development.
Eligibility
You must:
-
have an existing flower farm within the greater Syracuse, NY area

three years of professional flower growing experience
-
preferred: at least one year of wholesale selling experience

grow cut flowers at a commercial scale, such as:
-
50-100+ stems per cultivar of a crop weekly
-
200 stems/week for at least 26 weeks/year

500 stems of a high-volume seasonal specialty (i.e. peony)

Selling & Purchasing

Before the season, the Collective will provide you with the hardgoods you will need to package your wholesale products.

Our 10-Day Rhythm:

Growers submit inventory via Rooted Farmers by Tuesday evening. Florists can shop Wednesday through Monday.

Growers can download a cut sheet via Rooted Farmers after the ordering window closes.

You will harvest on Monday and Tuesday, then drop products at the Flower Collective on Tuesday evening.

Our delivery driver will pick up the orders from the Flower Collective on Wednesday and run the route. Buyers who opt to pick up will be able to do so in the afternoon/evening.

Getting Paid
Growers receive their payments once a month.
The Flower Collective retains 25% of every sale (5% for the buyer's handling fee, and 20% for the grower's collective fee). This contribution goes towards our shared monthly expenses, including payroll employees, marketing and advertising fees, bookkeeping, facilities rental, our point of sale software and transaction fees, and all other hardgoods and overhead.
In especially abundant years, the Collective may also provide other financial benefits to its Growers such as end-of-year bonuses, research and development grants, and scholarships.
