Top crops: Our favorites are native straight species of sunflowers, monardas, asters, coneflower, and rudbeckia.
A proud farm moment: In 2022, we began finding an incredible increase of native praying mantis and their egg sacs up from the past 4 years. As an indicator species for a healthy habitat we are thrilled to find so many more of them around our farm especially close to the house and in the native gardens.
Something exciting happening in 2024: In Spring and early Autumn we hold annual native plant sales and will offer our Native Blooms Boxes again. We’re also planning something special for Pollinator Week in June!
Other services offered: In addition to our "Cottage Bouquets" we offer ‘’Garden Buddy Services" helping homeowners create gardens to support pollinators and other wildlife right in their own backyard. Each Spring and Autumn we offer seasonal plant CSAs called Native Blooms Boxes featuring up to 26 native plants of your choice grown specifically for Central New York/Eastern Lake Ontario gardens.
