Spring Alternatives to Imported Flowers

Currently, as many as 80% of the flowers used in the United States are imported from foreign countries. One of our goals is to make locally-grown flowers more available to florists, giving florists and designers more options when it comes to the ingredients they use in their designs and also reducing their carbon footprint.

After years of working with florists, we know that there are some tried-and-true varieties that many are hesitant to replace. But the truth is that locally-grown flowers can give the same impact and last just as long (if not longer) than the imported alternatives!

Here are some local alternatives to popular flowers that florists can try this spring!
