That's a Wrap on the 2024 Main Season!

This week marks the last week of our 2024 season. This was the Flower Collective's first season and there is so much to celebrate.

Here is a recap of what happened in 2024!

Sales months: February through October

Distribution of stems sold by flower type. Ranunculus and tulips were the top selling varieties, followed by eucalyptus and zinnias.

Number of orders: 205

Stems sold: 13,365

Number of Participating Farms: 14

Number of Participating Florists: 31

Highest sales months: August and September

Most popular flower types: Ranunculus and tulips

Most popular colors: Green, pink, and white

Distribution of flower sales by color. Green, pink, and white were the most commonly sold colors, followed by apricot and mauve.

Open Cooler Events: 2 (one in July and one in September)

Community presentations hosted: 2 (one at the New York State Fair, one through Cornell Cooperative Extension)

The Open Cooler Night events held in July and September were one highlight of the season. We loved getting to meet our buyers in person and showing off all of the variety we offer!
